Dailly assignment : The Disappearing Rain Forests

Topic : The Disappearing Rain Forests

We hear as rain forest also called dense forest forest of over green trees that gets at least 100 inches of rain every year. The fact that it rains so much makes those forests different from others. Many species of plant grow and many animals live there. From the new species they discover in rain forests, medical scientists have made new medicines that may save many people's lives. Environmentalists have shown that rain forests usually clean the earth's air by removing carbon dioxide and adding oxygen. In spite of this information, people everyday cut those trees at the high rate and without replanting some. Other people prefer destroying those precious trees to use the land for farming. In equatorial zone, some owners of logging companies cut down the rain forest to sell wood. Around the world, trees have been cut down in almost 80 percent of the earth's original rain forest, and large areas of these forests have disappeared. In many remaining rain forests, the logging companies continue cutting down the trees. The trees in some forests grows very slowly, however people do not replant them. The logging companies argue that using the wood from these forests is necessary since they use them to build houses and furniture. Ecologists everyday fight against people who destroy rain forest. They believe that we may preserve life on planet earth by protecting the rain forests.
