Human beings have enormous advantages from education. It trains their minds to think and make right decisions. without education people would not have their highly developed machines and would not believe that other planets surround the earth. Some parents have different opinions on how their children should get their education. Some of them like their children to learn with group, attend classes, and have schedules. Other parents like to educate their children at home. It makes parents work with their children as an individual and give them personal attention. They like to control what their children learn and when they learn it, which makes this kind of education popular these days? Some parents want to educate their children by ways acceptable to them for many reasons such as religion. Moreover, they like to educate them based on their beliefs. Apart of religion, other parents turn to home schooling because the quality of and environment of public schools did not satisfied them. Some of them change to home schooling to keep their children away from drugs, gangs, and school violence, which started and became popular in many countries. According to the Florida Department of Education's survey, 37% of parents gave this reason as cause to choose home schooling while 29% Chose home schooling for religion matter. For most parents, home schooling make children more independent. According to a research survey, almost 94% of home education helped children becoming independent and gave them the ability to make their own decision according to their convictions. For that reason, home education creates responsible and confident children. Also, some home schooled children score higher than other children in some college level tests. Although home schooling education present many advantages, it doesn't means that they should neglect public schools. Home schooling education do give children good education and have more resources. Competition always exist between public and home schools. Parents have the opinions to choose home schooling for their children and prefer it. That has impacted on public schools in competing for the best students. On the other hand, other parents believe that home schooling may have some disadvantages toward students and their background. According to these parents, home schooling take children away from real life. It may deny them from participating with people and having relationship with peers. Furthermore, home schooled students might have a lack of political and social life, which might affect their tendency to become good citizens. One of the most popular disadvantages with home schooled students result in having difficulties to learn how to conform to cultural norms. In any case, home or public schools have their owns advantages and disadvantages towards students. People have their own decision to have one of them for their children or for themselves.
