Dailly assignment : How t Train Your Pet

Topic: How to Train Your Pet

It is really amazing to see how some animals perform on TV and in movies: It depends how they have been trained. According to researches, many trainers use psychologies methods to teach their pets. Animals can be taught many sophisticated tricks based on reinforcement techniques. If you want to train your pet, you may first select the kind of animal. It can be a dog , cat, or monkey. The next thing should be to choose reward like food. Notice that reward is more effective when it is given at the same time that the pet performs the desired trick. As you will not always be able to give to the animal as quickly as you would like to do, you will need to develop a" conditioned reinforcer". You can do that by connecting the food with something else such as ringing a bell. Thus the sound of the bell makes the conditioned reinforcer. As you are ready to begin the pet responding to the bell, get out some food like hamburger, meat, or cake and present it to the animal. Give it at the rate of two pieces per minute. As soon as the animal starts eating it, ring the bell and then trow another quantity of food. After a few minutes, repeat the same steps. When your pet reaches the point where it goes to the food place whenever you ring the bell, you are ready to begin teaching it the trick. For example, if you want to teach your dog to roll over, shape the dog's behavior by reinforcing anything that resembles the behavior you are trying to teach. Begin by reinforcing any attempt to lie down, jump, and run then associate the act of giving it food and ring the bell. Finally, when it will hear the bell ringing, it will jump up and starting running all around .
