Dailly assignment : How Houses Are Built

Topic: How Houses Are Built

Everywhere in the world, people build their houses according to the materials which are
available. In some areas, most people build their houses with wood, others with of blocks constructed with sand or earth. Africans both build their houses with wood and blocks. Most of these people without appropriate financial means likely make earth blocks which consist of the ground dug, mixed with water, and carefully dry either on the sun or on the fire. Once the blocks are ready, the first step consists of using them to construct the walls. Secondly, Sand mixed with water and cement should be used to plaster the walls. If the house's owner is financially wealthier, he could use iron, cement, sand, and water to make the pols which support the house. To make the roof, the carpenter assembles wood, zinc, and nails. Finally plywood constitutes the common material to make the ceiling. They could use wooded doors and windows, or iron one, but in addition to wood other people use glass on their windows. The floor should be cemented and finally the walls painted. In poor areas, once they finish building the walls and make the roof, they do not worry about painting the house. Other people instead of using the blocks prefer woods. In that way all the house from the bottom to the roof except zinc is wooded. That type of houses are pretty dangerous because, if there is a fire incident, all the house should be swept away. In The United States of America, Houses are both made in wood and sand blocks including iron. Except administrative or other tall buildings, they construct most parts of American houses with wood and iron. Cement, sand and iron are used only on the floor and pols. When they finish constructing it, most of them have carpeted floors.
