Every living thing has its own specialty because of their genes which contain their features make them show differences. Today, many people have used genetic engineering where they can take genes out from one plant or animal and put into another totally different kind of thing. This makes it possible that they can mix one genes with other genes in one organism and grown together. Genetic engineering has powerful technique. It provides humans a lot of advantages and chances in the field of agriculture; however, it also brings high risks and dangers that exist and damage the eaters. The following is the controversy of genetically modified food from two articles in terms of both pro and con. The pro-genetically modified food side claims that research and development of genetically modified food really helps to increase crop productivity. For example, they increase meat consumption in Asian countries and they need too much crops. On the other hand, other people affirm that genetically modified food has substantial benefits for both human beings and the environment.They say that new plants from genetically reformatted resist insects such as the Colorado beetle, and tillers do not need to use insecticides in many past without genetic engineering. Finally, according to the proponents, we could see that genetically modified food solves a lot of agricultural problems in increasing productivity, reducing insecticides, and improving nutrition like proteins in human.
