The Worst Day of my Life

Topic : The Worst Day of my Life

Everything started on Wednesday, 12/25/05 in my home country during the Christmas holiday. My uncle organized a party that afternoon at his house. They can divide the great moment into three parts: In the afternoon during the ceremony itself, in the night after the ceremony, and during the following day after the party. On December, 12/25/05, my uncle celebrated his daughter's birthday. He had invited many guests for that special event. He organized a great party and we enjoyed a lot. I had never drunk alcohol but that day before the party ended, I drank two glasses of red wine and a bottle of bitter beer. Just after the last drop, my eyes started turning, my ears began sounding, my legs too weak and I couldn,t walk, so I lay on a very soft sofa and didn't dance anymore. I asked my girlfriend to give me a ride because I could not drive to my house. She took me there and without taking a shower, I went directly to bed and fell asleep. I set my alarm clock at 6:00 AM as usual. In the night, I couldn't sleep properly. Although I turned on the heater, the temperature was still very cold. While dreaming, I felt like sitting on a kind of machine which was turning round. I had the impression that I could fall. Finally, I fell completely asleep later in the night. At 6:00 AM the alarm clock rang, but I couldn,t hear it. I slept until the noisy song of birds at the right corner of my window woke me up when the c lock showed 9:00 AM on Thursday morning. I jumped out of my bed like a cat, completely confused. I tried to call my supervisor at work to explain the situation, but the phone sounded only a busy signal. Very fast, I took a shower with cold water, dressed, and went to the bust station. As soon as I reached there, the last bus was living. I shouted and it couldn't stop. I started running after it. Suddenly, I slipped and fell in a puddle of water. My clothes became completely dirty and also, I hurt my arm. I returned home to change my clothes but when I reached in the front door, I couldn't find my keys. I lost them where I felt. I called my sister to open the door and she did it. I went in to get dressed and went to the main road and took a bus. However, after two miles of driving, the bus had a flat tire. We spent more than thirty minutes to fix it. Finally, I reached at work at 11:00 AM. I tried to explain what happened, but the manager didn't listen to me and I got fired. In conclusion, I could never forget that sad Wednesday in my life. When I picture in my mind that afternoon ceremony, the the dreaming of that night, and the funny scene on that Thursday , 26, I still wonder if I would ever fall into that kind of situation again one day. After losing my job because of alcohol, I decided to drink and become drunk no more. I recommend to everyone to drink more juice and water instead of alcohol.
