The great improvement in medical science lets us discover that today the growth of the world population is increasing at the exponential rate. The mortality rate has really reduced while the number of birth reaches today the highest level. In many poor countries especially in Africa, the population is growing fast: as clue, women in those countries have a high birth rate. The average is six children per woman. The majority of those women are poor. They do not have financial support. Most of them do not have a job except those who can work in the farm. Why are those people giving birth to so many children? For economical situation,their ancestors had poor conception. They believed that a person who has many women and consequently many children should probably be a prominent one. Because most of them were farmers, they thought that having many kids will be helpful since they will provide free hand labor to their parents. Since then, this myth has reminded in Africans' mentality. They likely give birth to a lot of children event without any financial resource. Nowadays, that conception is no more helpful. Since the population has dramatically increased, there is no more space available to practice agriculture. Over there, children who do not have opportunity to go to school, or those who do not succeed at school are often offenders. Some of them are hookers, but without appropriate finance, they can't do a wealthier business. Other of those teenagers become robbers , spending their time playing on the street. Another reason for those women to have many kids is a lack of education. Most of them have not reached the high school and do not understand that having such a number of children without education is source of expenses and the increase of the poverty. The last reason is the government policy. In most of those countries, the government do not regulate the birth policy. A person can have the number of kids that he likes, it doesn't matter if he doesn't take care of them. People ruling the country do not take serious the consequences that result of the overpopulation. Their problem is applying their bad policy which consists of stealing all the country's money and keep in their own account in foreign countries. Although a country like China had understood that it can face many difficulties due to the rapid growth of the population, limiting the number of birth was the best solution, African presidents are still blind and do not care about it. Expecting that some day, poor countries will follow examples leaded by the rich countries, the overpopulation will still being one of the challenged problem that we are really concerned.
